      Vera Mae Johnson Collins, 90, of Kenedy, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. She was the mother of Harry (Barbara) Collins of Port Aransas. Collins was born on Dec. 12, 1919, to James Alexander “Zack” and Bessie Cade Johnson, on the old Johnson Ranch in Bee Cave.

      Lloyd Joseph “Jody” Dreyer of Ingleside, 55, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at the age of 55. He was the son of Lloyd Alfred and Eula Mae Dreyer of Port Aransas. Dreyer was born Aug. 3, 1954, in Corpus Christi. He was employed as a captain for Kirby Inland Marine, and was a member of the Aransas Pass Masonic Lodge.
