Mariculture tour slated

The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department has organized a trip to the Texas A & M AgriLife Research Mariculture Laboratory in Port Aransas.

The lab offers only private tours of the facility. Attendees will be given a closer look at mariculture in action.

The trip is one of a series of H.E.L.P. seminars sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. H.E.L.P. stands for health, ecology, lifestyle and preparation.

Carpools will depart the Pollock Center, 129 S. Alister St., on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m.
