Snook hearings scheduled

A Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) proposal to lower the minimum legal length of snook from 24 to 22 inches will be discussed in a series of hearings. Public comment will be sought on, among other things, catching and possessing fish within protected length limits or in excess of bag limits.

Hearings include one on Feb. 23 in Corpus Christi at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Natural Resources Center, 6300 Ocean Drive, Room 1003.
