A few boats ventured out on Sunday and Monday, Jan. 11 and 12, however, and brought back plenty of fish.
Offshore anglers caught tuna, wahoo, amberjack, kingfish and vermilion snapper, while bay anglers reported black drum, redfish and speckled trout.
Long-range floater trips are still bringing back the yellowfin and blackfin tuna, along with wahoo, amberjack and grouper.

said their long range floater trips brought back yellowfin and blackfin tuna, wahoo and amberjack. Shorter trips yielded vermilion snapper limits, kingfish, grouper, amberjack and shark. Bay anglers are catching redfish, black drum, sheepshead and speckled trout.
John Dunn at Dolphin Dock said anglers on an offshore trip caught limits of kingfish and vermilion snapper and a 305-pound mako shark.
