Don’t want to stay up late on New Year’s Eve?

Celebrate the arrival of 2010 a little early at the Noon Year’s Eve event scheduled by the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department.

The community is invited to join the department in an early celebration of the New Year from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion in Roberts Point Park.

The cost of participating is a snack to share, and attendees may bring their own beverages.
