The Port Aransas High School band will perform tonight, Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., in the Port Aransas High School cafetorium. The cafetorium is upstairs in the high school, at 100 S. Station St.

The program will include concert selections including “Southwest Summer,” a new composition depicting scenes of the Southwest.

The band will also play a Michael Jackson medley and a composition written for the band by assistant director Sam Marks.

The band is directed by Jim Cole and assistant directors Sam Marks and Judy Cole.

The concert is free and open to the public.
