The South Jetty will go to press early next week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

That means an early deadline for news and advertising.

News and advertising materials must be turned in by noon on Monday, Nov. 23.

Letters to the editor must be received by 10 a.m. Monday, as usual.

The newspaper will be sent to the printer at midday Tuesday, Nov. 24, and be in Port Aransas mailboxes and newsstands on Wednesday morning, Nov. 25. The online edition also will be posted Wednesday morning.

The South Jetty office will close at noon Wednesday and remain closed through Friday. (The office is not open on weekends.)

Regular business hours will resume at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30. The usual deadline of noon on Tuesday will resume on Dec. 1. Letters to the editor are due by 10 a.m. Monday.
