“The Music in Me” is the theme at the Art Center for the Islands’ First Friday reception on Nov. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the art center, 323 N. Alister St.

The November exhibit is an all-member show. The artists will produce work interpreting the theme and present them in the show.

The public is invited to socialize, enjoy some live music provided by local musicians, peruse the exhibit and have some refreshments.

Art from the exhibit will be on display and available for purchase through Nov. 27.
