A bottlenose dolphin such as this one photographed on Sept. 25 may be the first to greet visitors arriving in Port Aransas via the ferry. The dolphins ride the swell at the bows of ships as they traverse the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. This weekend, the dolphins will welcome visitors here for the Harvest Moon Regatta, the South Texas Music Fest - Chili, Barbecue and Bean Cook-off, Mardi Gras in October and MustangFest 2009.
