The men’s softball league needs a team or players to fill the 8 o’clock slot on Thursday nights.

Interested players should show up at the Jerry McDonald Field at 8 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Sept. 17.

The Port Aransas Softball League needs to fill an open roster for the 8 p.m. slot on Thursdays, said Butch Findley, league coordinator.

Individual players or a team are invited to show up tonight at the field at the corner of Alister Street and Avenue C and lay claim to the 8 p.m. game slot.

The first game of the season will start at 7 p.m., followed by the open roster spot at 8 p.m. and the evening will end with the 9 p.m. game.

The coed league has a full complement of six teams and has already started play on Tuesday nights at 7, 8 and 9 o’clock.
