Billie Reiter Sr., of Port Aransas, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009.

He was born July 22, 1941, in Port Aransas, to Herman and Velva Reiter.

Reiter was a commercial fisherman for most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Reiter, and a daughter, Diana Reiter.

He is survived by two sons; Billy Reiter Jr. and Clinton Reiter; a daughter in-law, Jennifer Reiter; two brothers, Kenneth Reiter, Bruce Reiter; two sisters, Hilda Hudspeth, and Patsey Frick; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 4357 Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi.
