Michael and Tahra Boatright of Austin announce the birth of their son, Drake Burl Boatright.

The infant was born on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, at 8:38 a.m.

He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Pat and Gina McKeever of Port Aransas.

Paternal grandparents are Rory and Hollis Boatright of Blanco and Margaret and Glenn Hannum of Fredericksburg.
