COURTESY PHOTO Jennifer Fadal of Austin and Port Aransas landed this 38-inch ling while drifting the Lydia Ann Channel recently. She was fishing for trout when the ling grabbed the bait off the bottom and stripped most of the 10-pound line from her reel during its first run. Fadal played the fish for another 15 minutes before netting her catch.
