Tom Furlow, of San Antonio and formerly of Port Aransas, caught this 230-pound yellowfin tuna off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii, on Monday, Aug. 3. Furlow was on a family vacation and went out on a four hour charter trip. His father, Bruce Furlow of Port Aransas, said that folks at the dock told his son it was the biggest yellowfin caught in waters around Kauai this season.
