The Port Aransas Community Theater’s summer youth production, “Shootout at Darby Wells,” will open on Friday, July 31.

The melodrama will be cast entirely of Port Aransas youth.

The cast includes Chase Chambers as Colonel Applegate; Melissa Estrada as Priscilla Posse; Jessica Etheridge as Brenda; Taylor Griffin as Widow Venom; Claire Jones as June; Aaron Kenigsberg as Virgil Venom; Elliott Morris as Colonel Applegate; Ty Morris as Tommy Tulip; Marshall Smith as Rogue Rancid/Gordon Goodguy; Cathryn Yarbrough as April; Heather Youngblood as Bertha Buxom; Elliott Morris as stage manager and Jason Morris as light and sound tech. Bill McKinney will direct.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturday, July 31and Aug. 1, Aug.7-8 and 14-15. A Sunday matinee will be performed at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 16.
