The Port Aransas Girl Scouts will hold an informational session for any girl or adult interested in the program on Tuesday, July 28, at 7 p.m. in the H.G. Olsen Elementary School cafeteria.

The program is for girls from kindergarten through their senior year in high school. Age levels K-1 are Daisies, grades two and three are Brownies, grades four and five Juniors, grades six through eight Cadettes, grades nine and 10 Seniors and grades 11-12 are Ambassadors.

Scout leader LuAnn Ferguson said, “We hope to have a troop each for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and older girls from Cadettes through Ambassadors. I will be leading the older girl troop. I am also a council trainer and all required adult training opportunities will be offered here in town. Anyone with questions is welcome to call me at 749-5141.”
