A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, for Sam L. Poteet.

The service will be at Community Presbyterian Church, 113 S. Alister St., with a reception after at the Alister Square Inn, 122 S. Alister St.

Poteet, 72, died early Sunday morning, July 12, at The Heart Hospital at Corpus Christi Medical Center - Bay Area.

He was managing partner of CCMS, Inc., which on July 12 celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Poteet was born March 5, 1937, and had been married to Charlene Poteet for 29 years.
