Corey and Stacy Williams of Port Aransas announce the birth of their son, Kanoa James Williams.

He was born Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 8:14 a.m. at Christus Spohn Hospital South in Corpus Christi. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his siblings, Jacob Rubio, 6, and Nohea Williams, 2 1/2.

Maternal grandparents are Cathy and Jesse Doggett of Corpus Christi, and maternal great-grandmother is Doris Ann Beadle, also of Corpus Christi.

Paternal grandparents are Douglas and Cathye Williams of Portland, and paternal great-grandparents are Wilbur and Corrine Strickland of Corpus Christi.
