He was born Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 8:14 a.m. at Christus Spohn Hospital South in Corpus Christi. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 21 inches long. He was welcomed home by his siblings, Jacob Rubio, 6, and Nohea Williams, 2 1/2. SOUTH JETTY A 60-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, June 24, on allegations that he fired a rifle at a woman on Avenue E in Port Aransas. Thomas Capps, of Port Aransas, was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, said Lt. Darryl Johnson of the Port Aransas Police Department. Capps was being held at Nueces County Jail in Corpus Christi in lieu of $35,000 bail on Tuesday, June 30, said Lt. Fred Flores of the Nueces County Sheriff’s Department. More ...
