Variety show provides ‘cool’ entertainment Come in out of the heat, sit back and be entertained for an evening. The Port Aransas Community Theater will present two variety shows on Saturday, June 20 and 27, at 7:30 p.m. Hometown talent will perform for two nights of fun and relief from the summer heat. A few regular PACT players, including Betty Crawford, Jack Dreessen, Phyllis Layne, Ginny Shaw and David Beane will perform musical numbers, and newcomer Ty Morris will sing and play guitar. Katie Crysop-Sikes will direct. Jason and Elliot Morris will work tech and props. Marion Fersing will play the piano before each show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those under 18, and may be purchased at the theater, 2327 State Hwy. 361. Tickets will not be printed. The box office will open 45 minutes before each show. |
