MONDAY, JUNE 8 9:47 a.m. • An animal control officer impounded a loose dog in the 400 block of West Cotter Avenue. 11:06 a.m. • Police received a report that a cell phone was found on the beach at Avenue G. 1:27 p.m. • A sick person was taken by ambulance from the 1500 block of 11th Street to Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. 6:05 p.m. • Police responded to reports of a barking dog in the 500 block of Lydia Ann Channel. A barking-dog nuisance was reported in the same area also at 9:30 p.m. the same day and at 7:37 a.m. the next day. 8:47 p.m. • A pit-bull-lab mix was quarantined after the unleashed dog bit a woman on the foot in the 100 block of North Alister Street, police said. 9:52 p.m. • A sick person was taken by ambulance from the 300 block of Bahia Mar to Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. 11:59 p.m. • In the 600 block of Sand Key, a sick person was taken by ambulance to Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. TUESDAY, JUNE 9 12:47 a.m. • A sick person in the 200 block of Oleander was taken to Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. 7:11 a.m. • An animal control officer impounded a loose dog in the 500 block of Cut-off Road. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10 12:21 a.m. • A caller reported hearing gunshots in the 1200 block of South Station Street, but police were unable to find the source. 7:21 a.m. • A laptop computer and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Whispering Sands. 12:48 p.m. • Police responding to a report of an intoxicated person found a reportedly drunk man swimming in the city marina. The man was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial in Corpus Christi for treatment. 10:06 p.m. • A man was arrested on an Aransas County warrant in the 900 block of Tarpon Street. 8:12 p.m. • A sick person was taken by ambulance from the 1100 block of Channel Vista Drive to Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline in Corpus Christi. THURSDAY, JUNE 11 7:35 p.m. • A vehicle fire was extinguished at Avenue A and Oleander Street. FRIDAY, JUNE 12 2:36 a.m. • Two men were reported to be jumping off Horace Caldwell Pier. Authorities found the men on shore, unharmed. 9:20 a.m. • A bracelet, watch and ring were reported stolen in the 5900 block of State Hwy. 361. 9:44 a.m. • Police received a report that someone stole fishing equipment, a tool box and lawn chairs from a pickup truck in the 700 block of South 11th Street. 5:03 p.m. • An electric meter was reported stolen from the side of a home in the 1100 block of South 11th Street. 11:23 p.m. • Police arrested a woman on suspicion of public intoxication at Pole 20 On The Beach. SATURDAY, JUNE 13 7:42 a.m. • An iPod and cash were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Sand Castle Drive. 8:56 a.m. • GPS equipment and other items were stolen from two vehicles in the 600 block of Pelican Circle. 11:10 a.m. • Graffiti was reported at the baseball fields at Port Aransas Community Park. 11:13 a.m. • Police arrested a man on suspicion of shoplifting in the 400 block of South Alister Street. 11:31 a.m. • Police responded to the 300 block of Sixth Street and took a report of two radios being stolen from a boat. 12:25 p.m. • Police issued a written warning to a motorist for allowing a person to cling to a moving vehicle at Pole 7 On The Beach. 2:02 p.m. • Police arrested a man on suspicion of possessing marijuana at Pole 1 On The Beach. 4:07 p.m. • A sick person was taken by ambulance from the 100 block of Gulf Wind Drive to Christus Spohn Hospital South in Corpus Christi. 5:01 p.m. • Two people riding jet skis onto the beach near Sand Castle Drive were warned by police about city ordinances regarding jet ski use. 11:45 p.m. • A female minor was issued a citation for minor in possession of alcohol. SUNDAY, JUNE 14 12:19 a.m. • Police responding to a reported beer theft in the 200 block of East Cotter Avenue arrested a man for theft and evading. 9:31 a.m. • Police responding to a report of aggressive dogs arrested a man for municipal court warrants at Pole 47 On The Beach. 10:53 p.m. • A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 300 block of West Cotter Avenue. |
