      Pudge Carrobelle “Pudge” Goodwin Roberts of Port Aransas passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009. It was the 65th anniversary of D-Day and a full moon. She was 83. Private family services will be held at a later date. Pudge was born Jan. 1, 1926, in Hillsboro, where she lived until she was 6 years old when her family moved to Waco where she grew up. Rumor has it that she was the first baby born in Texas that year.

Glenn
      Gerald A. Glenn of Port Aransas died on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the age of 83. Glenn was born in 1926 in Pratt County, Kansas, to the late Clayton and Frances Glenn. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Glenn of Port Aransas; two sons, Greg (Robin) Glenn of Edmond, Okla. and Jeffry (Patricia) Glenn of Queen Creek, Ariz.; a daughter, Marcia (Bill) Kumle of Cooper City, Fla.; a brother, Bob Glenn of Fowler, Kans.; two sisters, Evelyn Dye of Meade, Kans. and Dorothy Glenn of Fowler, Kans.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
