Swim team to host Odem

The Port Aransas Swim Team has more swimmers this year than ever before, according to coach Nana Ward.

With 48 members ages five through 18, it should be a good season, she said.

Ward said the public is always welcome to attend the swim meets, held on Saturdays, to cheer the team on.

All home meets are at 9 a.m. at the Community Park pool, 700 Clark Parkway, off Ross Avenue.

June 6: against Odem, here June 20: against Rockport, here June 27: against Flour Bluff, here July 11 - 12: TAAF Regional Meet, Corpus Christi Natatorium July 17 - 19: Corpus Christi City Championship, Corpus Christi Natatorium July 23 - 26: TAAF State Championship, San Antonio.
