Surprise ling

COURTESY PHOTO Frank Bonner of Rockport caught this 66 1/2-pound ling when he fished with his former college roommate, Capt. Steve Price of Port Aransas. They fished aboard Price’s boat, the Jackin’ Around on Sunday, May 31. They were fishing for redfish on ultra light rod and 20-pound test when he hooked the ling. He fought the fish for over an hour before landing it.
