STAFF PHOTO BY DAN PARKER Port Aransas artist Flint Reed recently created an oil painting depicting the Mercer House in its new incarnation as the Port Aransas Museum, and he donated it to the museum on Thursday, May 14. Reed is allowing the museum the right to sell prints from the painting too. 'It's an extremely generous gift,' said Rick Pratt, director of the museum.
