The 13th annual Texas Sand Sculpture Festival -- SandFest -- lived up to expectations with nearly 100,000 spectators arriving over the three-day period, Friday through Sunday, April 17-19, to see works by master, pro-am, amateur and youth sculptors. Winner of the masters solo division was Karen Fralich, left, of Burlington, Ontario, Canada with her creation called 'Change of Seasons.'
