All of the artists featured are women. The Art Center for the Islands will hold its First Friday art reception tomorrow, April 3, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the art center, 323 N. Alister St.

The April exhibit will feature the works of women artists who live on, or are inspired by, the islands. Laurie Reed, Michelle Huels, Mary Calhoun, Narice Hopp, Monique Dix, Pat Dittberner and Linda Hansen will exhibit their work.

The public is invited to enjoy the exhibit, live music and refreshments and socialize.

The exhibit will be on display and available for purchase through April 24.

Island Woman Boutique and A Mano are the April sponsors for the art center.
