Summer Hernandez, a sixth grader at Brundrett Middle School, played with the Corpus Christi Lady Hot Shots in a basketball tournament on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, in Tuloso Midway. The Lady Hot Shots took first place in the tournament. The team, selected by coaches, is made up of girls from all over the Coastal Bend.
