Brain work

H.G. Olsen Elementary School third-grade students Brody Hogan, left, and Kylie Pugh create artwork related to Brain Awareness Week, observed March 9-13 and 23-25. The students have been engaged in a study called Neuroscience for Kids: The Mind That's Mine, under the direction of teacher Marilyn Cook. Purpose of the study is to understand differences in learning. The dispays will be in the Bill Ellis Memorial Library starting March 31. The study was funded by a grant from the Port Aransas Education Foundation.
