Small-town life
Each H.G. Olsen Elementary School kindergartener recently was assigned to create one or two models of Port Aransas businesses for a class project. When the students put them all together, they had a little town on their hands. Above: Kai Kidd, left, and Robert Carlough help lay out the models. At left: Kai's creation was a little Moby Dick's Restaurant and Gift Shop, complete with palm trees and marineoriented decorations including a fake shark. Mason Barwise built Mason's Candy Store, perhaps renaming Winton's.
