Miriam Lynn Ainscough died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at the age of 50.

She was born Nov. 8, 1958, in Escanaba, Mich., to William R. and Vivien R. Taylor. She was raised in Michigan and moved to Port Aransas five years ago after retiring from employment as a paralegal.

Ainscough was a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Aransas.

She was preceded in death by brothers John and Russell Taylor.

She is survived by her son Zach Ainscough of Port Aransas; parents William and Vivien Taylor of Port Aransas; brother Philip (Kathy) Taylor of Chesapeake, Va., and sister Elaine (John) Pritchard of Omaha, Neb.

Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 28.

A private graveside service was held at Royal Palm Cemetery, and a public memorial service was held at First Baptist Church in Port Aransas, on Sunday, March 1.
