Marjorie "Margie" A. Bietendorf died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at the age of 77.

She lived in Port Aransas for 32 years before moving to Ingleside.

Bietendorf was a registered nurse for 45 years, working primarily in Aransas Pass.

She is survived by her husband, former Port Aransas mayor Dale Bietendorf; four children, Dale Bietendorf, Terry Bietendorf, Beth Edmunds and Gaylynn Olsen; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
