Amos' treasures going on the block
TONY AMOS WITH HIS 'STUFF' Two fundraisers for the Animal Rehabilitation Keep are planned for this weekend.
On Saturday, hunt for beach treasure without ever touching the sand.
Tony Amos' annual Beach Treasures Sale and live auction will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, in the courtyard of Moby Dick's restaurant, 517 S. Alister. The sale will continue until most of the items are sold.
Amos sells and auctions the varied objects he has found on the beach throughout the year.
Then, on Sunday, March 8, from 4 to 7 p.m., Moby Dick's will hold a Cajun shrimp boil to benefit the ARK.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $10 per person. The price includes the shrimp boil and coffee tea or soda. A cash bar will be available.
