'Social Security' held over
The Port Aransas Community Theatre is extending its production of "Social Security" for three extra performances due to full-house attendance at past shows.
The final performances will be Thursday through Saturday, March 5 - 7, at 7:30 p.m.
The play is by Andrew Bergman, who also wrote screenplays for "Blazing Saddles" and "The In-Laws."
It is a bawdy, risqué comedy for adult audiences about a married couple who are art dealers trying to save their college-age daughter from living only for sex.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased in advance at the theater box office, 2327 State Hwy. 361.
Box office hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Tickets also may be purchased 30 minutes before performances or by calling the theater at 749-6036 to reserve them.
The cast includes Bonnie Isaac, Jay Olah, Ludmilla and Jim Hagans, Henry Goffken and Gay Greer. The director is Peggy Willmott-Olah.
