Bring your Valentine to the art center tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 6, for an art auction and entertainment.

"Hearts for the Arts" is an annual silent auction fundraiser for the center, with a Valentine theme.

The works featured in the auction have been donated to the center by various member artists.

Also up for auction are 25 hearts, made by the children in the Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department's after-school Latchkey program at H.G. Olsen Elementary School.

The First Friday reception is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the art center, 323 N. Alister St.

The public is invited to peruse the exhibit, place bids, hear live music and enjoy refreshments and socializing.

Art from the exhibit will be on display and available for bidding through Friday, Feb. 13.

Loyd Neal is the February sponsor for the art center.

The receptions are typically held on the first Friday of each month.
