Louella "Lou" Harris, 75, of Orange, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, in Beaumont.

She was the mother of Connie (David) Beane of Port Aransas.

Harris was born July 15, 1933, in Basile, La., to Alexson and Edna (Fuselier) LeDoux Foxworth.

She lived in Orange County most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois Abbott; a brother, Preston LeDoux.

In addition to the Beanes, she is survived by her husband, Carl Lee Harris, of Orange; five sons, Floyd (Angela) Harris, of Euliss, Jerry (Lonna) Harris of Spring, Jack Keith of Bulverde, Glenn Keith of Pearsall and Alan Keith of Seguin; six daughters, Barbara (Butch) Apgar and Brenda Mire (Dale) Robert, all of Gonzales, La., Pam (Richard) Sims of Orange, Phyliss (Joe) Matte, of Vidor and Sandra Keith of Pearsall; 31 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Friday, Jan. 27, in Orange, followed by interment.
