LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
      Getting it straight I read with interest all the news on the Mercer house. Let me say first that the Mercer house on Station and Mercer was never moved. It was the home of John "Johny" Mercer and family. Johny was our constable in the late '30s; he was a small man whose pistol looked to be as long as his leg.
