Make a date for Saturday, Jan. 17.

That night the Port Aransas Rotary Club benefit Casino Night at the Port Aransas Civic Center, 710 W. Ave. A. will offer an evening of dinner and entertainment.

Dinner will be served from 6 to 7 p.m., and the casino will open at 7 p.m.

Tickets cost $20 per person, and will include a fried fish dinner with all the trimmings, $500 in start-up chips and chances for door prizes.

Tickets for the event may be purchased at theFamily Center IGA, 418 S. Alister St.; ValueBank Texas, 500 S. Alister St.; American Bank, 216 S. Alister St., or from any Port Aransas Rotarian.

The casino tables will include blackjack, craps, a roulette wheel and a wheel of fortune. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening, and a Chinese auction will offer many items to the lucky winners.

Proceeds from the night benefit the Rotary Club's scholarship fund for graduates of Port Aransas High School.
