In a story titled "County to pitch drainage district," a statement was incorrectly attributed to Port Aransas City Manager Michael Kovacs.

It was Nueces County Precinct 4 Commissioner Chuck Cazalas who said "Nothing has been set in concrete about any of that."

The South Jetty regrets any inconvenience this error might have caused to anyone.
