Kid's Calendar
PORT ARANSAS PARKS ANS RECREATION DEPARTMENT

Unless otherwise noted, activities listed will be held at the Girl Scout hut, 739 W. Ave. A, are for children age five and up, and cost $2 for the first child, $1 for additional children. Parents are welcome at no charge. Call 749-4158 two days in advance to register.

Thursday, August 21

• Silly Sox- See what it feels like to be inside a giant sock. Games and improvisations inside the sock. Free. H.G. Olsen Elementary School gym, 100 S. Station St.,10 a.m.

• Chill Out Time- Make mini gardens and beaches, 2:30 p.m.

• The Final 25 Cent Cinema of the season at Ellis Memorial Library has been cancelled.

Friday, August 22

• Shake off Summer- Make maracas, do a little dance, and get ready for school. 11 a.m.

• Final Family Swim Night of the season- From 7 to 8:30 pm. at the Community Park Pool, 700 Clark Pkwy. Under 2 free, $1 for 2-18, $2 for 19-59, $1 for 60+.

• Time to get up and go to school, have a great year!

Monday, September 1
