Strickland

Randall A. "Randy" Strickland, 44, died Friday, July 11, 2008. He was a resident of Port Aransas since 1967.

Strickland was born in Dallas on Sept. 20, 1963, and moved to Port Aransas in 1967.

He worked in several Port Aransas restaurants, including the Waterfront, Marcel's, and The Restaurant at Port Royal Resort.

Strickland is survived by his wife, Jan Hosfelt of Port Aransas; his mother, Mary Anne Arrington of Port Aransas; three uncles: Sam (Sharon) Arrington of Aransas Pass, Phil (Sara) Arrington of Phoenix, Ariz., and Steve (Charr) Arrington of Alvin; and several cousins.

A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14, at the Church of Christ in Port Aransas.
