Island swimmers face Corpus Christi group
Port Aransas Swim Team scores 114 points despite size of Corpus Christi Club Estates

Port Aransas Swim Team (PAST) competed against Corpus Christi Club Estates in Corpus Christi on Saturday, June 28. Club Estates outnumbered PAST three swimmers to one, but PAST managed to score 114 points against their 284.

PAST had some fast times, including some qualifying times for the Corpus Christi City Championship meet on July 18, at the Corpus Christi Natatorium.

PAST will compete in Corpus Christi again on Saturday, July 5, against the Santa Fe Swim Team. This will be the last dual meet of the season. Swimmers will then compete in the Regional meet at the Corpus Christi Natatorium on July 12.

Monday, July 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the team will be swimming laps for pledges at the Port Aransas Community Park pool to raise money for the swim team. Everyone is invited come out and show support.
