Junior boaters
The Junior Boatmen were treated to a 5-hour trip on June 12, 2008, sponsored by Fisherman's Wharf. The club, formed in April for Port Aransas middle and high school students interested in boating and fishing, is planning a variety of events this summer. At an April meeting, the group got some lessons in tying knots and leaders. Further information on the club may be obtained by contacting the club's founder and sponsor, Julie Shodrok, at 749-3199.
