Godspell Jr. to play

Tickets will be available for purchase this week for an upcoming Port Aransas Community Theater (PACT) production.

Beginning Thursday, July 10, PACT will be performing Godspell Jr, a musical production depicting the stories of John the Baptist, Jesus and Judas. All cast members are under the age of 18.

According to Tim McDonald, project director of Broadway Junior, "in 90 minutes the show covers major episodes in the Bible including the baptism of Jesus, the Last Supper, the arrest and crucifixion using a variety of theatrical styles."

Performances are scheduled for July 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. and on July 24 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at the theatre box office, 2327 State Hwy. 361, Monday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

They can also be purchased 45 minutes before performances times and can be reserved by calling 749- 6036.

Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children under 18.

Tickets may no longer be purchased at the Tourist Bureau location on Cotter St.
