Shelley Renee Barnes, 40, died Friday, June 13, 2008.

Barnes was born Oct. 3, 1967, in Covington, Ky.

She lived in Port Aransas for the past 24 years and worked in the hospitality industry.

Barnes is survived by her son, Shannon Barnes, her daughter, Dakota Barnes, her brother, David Million of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Kelly Albertson of Kentucky and DeAnna Million of San Antonio; her former husband, Charles Barnes of Rockport and former mother-inlaw Mary Palmer of Rockport.

Graveside service will be held today, Thursday, June 19, at 2 p.m., at Royal Palms Cemetery in Port Aransas.
