City offers sailing tours

Sail away for half a day. The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department is offering three-hour sailing tours.

On Tuesdays, June 17 and July 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, families or children 10 or older can set sail out of Woody's Sport Center, 136 Cotter Ave. Spaces are limited, but pre-registration is available at the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, 739 W. Ave. A.

Capt. Tom Doran will conduct the tours aboard the S/V Isla.
