CONSTABLE'S BEAT SUNDAY, JUNE 1
• 10 p.m. A deputy charged two people on State Hwy. 361 with public intoxication and arrested them on outstanding warrants. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4
• 2:31 a.m. Deputies found a vehicle upsidedown in a ditch at Avenue C and Seventh Street. No keys were in the vehicle and nobody was found in the vicinity. The vehicle was later reported stolen from the 200 block of Oleander (see related story). • 1:30 p.m. A deputy cited a motorist at Avenue E and 10th Street for expired vehicle registration. FRIDAY, JUNE 6
• 10 a.m. A person was arrested at Station and Oaks streets on outstanding warrants. • 2:30 p.m. A deputy cited a motorist on the beach for expired vehicle registration, expired inspection sticker, no driver's license and no liability insurance. Then, since there were warrants outstanding on the man, the deputy arrested him. • 3:35 p.m. A motorist was cited on the beach for expired vehicle registration. • 8:30 p.m. A deputy cited a driver on State Hwy. 361 for failure to yield the right of way. • 10:40 p.m. Four people were charged on the beach with minor in possession of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and open alcohol container in a vehicle. SATURDAY, JUNE 7
• 1:20 a.m. Deputies broke up a fight in the 700 block of Trout Street and sent the participants home. • 3:30 p.m. A deputy cited a driver on the beach for expired vehicle registration. • 7:30 p.m. On State Hwy. 361, a driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
