Boyer

Some information was inadvertently omitted from the obituary for John "Jack" Boyer who died Tuesday, May 20, 2008.

Boyer owned and operated J.R. Boyer & Co., a NASD member firm based in Port Aransas. He also served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

In addition to the survivors listed in the obituary published in the May 29 edition of the South Jetty, Boyer is survived by his grandchildren, Colton Huckabay of Pflugerville and Port Aransas, John "Jake" III and Heather Boyer of Houston, Jonathon Little of Naples, Fla., and Danny, Tyler and Shane Griffin of Crete, Ill.
