Kids invited to art camp on Wednesday afternoons
AT ART CENTER FOR ISLANDS

Budding young artists can join Wednesday afternoon art classes this summer at the Art Center for the Islands, 323 N. Alister.

The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department and the art center are cooperating to offer art instruction for students in grades three to five. The Alicia Dreessen Memorial Art Fund helps to sponsor the youth art camps as well.

Classes will be held at 1 p.m. on June 18, July 2, 16 and 30. They are open to the public.

Summer art includes painting, drawing, 3-D work and collage, as well as learning about authors, artists and illustrators.
