City offers swimming lessons at pool

Anyone wishing to register for swim lessons will need to do so in person this year.

Register for the first session of swim lessons from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 3. The two-week session will be taught at 9:40 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Tuesday through Friday, June 10-20.

Registration and lessons will be held at the Port Aransas Community Park Pool, 700 Clark Parkway.

The fee for island residents is $5 for the first child, $4 for a second child and $3 for a third, with a maximum of $12 per family.

For non-residents: $10 for the first child, $8 for a second child and $6 for a third with a maximum of $24 per family.

Two additional sessions will be taught July 1-11 and July 22- Aug.1.

Registration will be 6-7 pm Tuesday, June 24 for the second session and July 15 for the third.
